A Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT Madras and MBA from IIM, Calcutta Mr. Rao brings more than five decades of expertise in hydraulic systems. Under his 30 years leadership at Montan Hydraulik India he specialized in complex end to end solutions for dam gate operations. This vision led to the successful execution of over one hundred major hydro dam projects across national and international arenas. Recognized as both a technical pioneer and a business leader, his contributions continue to shape the field of hydraulic engineering with unmatched depth of knowledge and foresight.
Gautham Achar
Managing Director
Mr. Gautham Achar has a demonstrated history of leading an organization that supplies hydraulic and electro-mechanical subsystems to the Defense and Railways sectors. Subsystems supplied by him are used in several prestigious radar and missile systems used by the Indian Army and Air Force. He is skilled in Team Building, Strategic Planning and Business Strategy. Educated in the United States and many years of experience in companies like PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture, he brings a unique work culture to the organization.
Dr. V. Ramasamy
Director - Operations
Dr. V. Ramasamy is a highly accomplished engineering leader with over 30 years of experience in hydraulic systems, advanced manufacturing and product development across construction, aerospace, defense, oil and gas and industrial sectors. Holding a Ph.D. in Hydraulics, he has successfully led greenfield manufacturing projects, large-scale plant operations and innovation-driven engineering initiatives.
Throughout his career, he has designed and developed advanced hydraulic cylinders, power units, valves and testing systems for global OEMs, hydroelectric projects, defense applications, and aerospace clients.
Dr. Ramasamy is recognized for his expertise in hydraulic engineering, R&D leadership, operational excellence, ERP implementation, and team development. He has published international research papers, established advanced testing facilities, and delivered mission-critical hydraulic solutions approved by organizations such as ISRO and DRDO. His strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen and leadership makes him a valuable contributor to high-growth engineering and manufacturing organizations.
Shri R Venugopal
Head - Design and Engineering
Shri R Venugopal, Sc 'G' (Retd.), Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE, DRDO), Chennai, has successfully developed assemblies and subsystems for Armored Fighting Vehicles and Missile Launchers. He has also developed subsystems for Aerospace applications.
In recognition of his significant contributions, the DRDO Scientist of the Year Award 2009 was conferred on Shri R Venugopal by Prime Minister of India Shri. Manmohan Singh.
He has designed Hydraulic outriggers and actuators for Agni Prime missile launcher for railway coaches and designed and developed outriggers for leveling mechanism for various radars and missile vehicles.
